Congratulations to Mason Callahan, who was named our July Living the Mission Award winner! Mason is a an RN at Kettering Health Main Campus.

The Living the Mission Award is given to people who bring Kettering Health’s mission to life, demonstrating the sacred work of improving the quality of life for people in the communities we serve. They use their own time and resources to transform lives, whether that’s in one of our facilities or out in the community.

“Mason’s immediate actions one evening last year will be forever appreciated by myself and my family. One of the young men in my family was involved in a tragic car accident and Mason arrived just after it occurred. He found my cousin, who had perished, and stayed with him until emergency services arrived. He was able to offer our family some answers about what he saw that night. Those few insights offered comfort, knowing that he stayed with our family member until he was in the care of the emergency services. Thank you, Mason, for your compassionate care for my family during a very sad time. Mason even attended the memorial service for this young man. We will never forget your caring actions.”
