Major Greg Stephens, a retired captain from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and current major with the Kettering Health Police Department, received the Peter Tobin Icon of Law Enforcement Lifetime Achievement Award!
This statewide award is given during Light Ohio Blue, a ten-day campaign to honor our fallen police officers and those who continue to serve.
Major Stephens is the award’s first recipient from the Dayton area.
During his 34 years of service, Major Stephens helped start the Light Ohio Blue campaign in Montgomery County.
Major Stephens is active in several law enforcement community service agencies including serving on the board with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Police Athletic and Activities League for the past 20 years and as an active board member with Montgomery County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial for the past 15 years.
We are honored to have this dedicated law enforcement officer on our team!
