Andy Hill has been named director of Finance at Kettering Health Dayton.
Andy joined Kettering Health in 2014 as a senior administrative fellow. Since then, he’s served in various leadership roles such as manager and director of Finance for Kettering Health Medical Group, controller for the system Finance team, and director of Finance for Emergency and Transportation.
In his most recent role, he led a team to deploy Kettering Health’s internally developed Epic emergency center charging module (FCC). Successfully deploying the module has resulted in over a million dollars in annual savings and revenue enhancements for our emergency centers. He also worked to integrate Kettering Transportation Services (KTS) into Kettering Health and bring them to a more fiscally sustainable model.
Andy enjoys making an impact, both in terms of financial stewardship and with the people he works alongside. “I want people to be better off having worked with me.”
Andy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has 17 years of experience in finance and accounting.
“March of this year marks 10 years with Kettering Health for me,” said Andy. “I’ve had the opportunity to serve in various roles from the Medical Group to network Finance and most recently with Emergency and Transportation. I’m looking forward to working closer with our frontline teams who deliver exceptional care day after day.”
Kelsey Schweikert has been named director of Medical-Surgical Nursing at Kettering Health Dayton.
Kelsey is a dynamic leader who has served most recently as the KH Dayton clinical nurse manager for the intensive care units. Her tenure has included promotion from charge nurse to staff nurse specialist to assistant nurse manager to clinical nurse manager, and now director. Kelsey is a motivational leader who has brought her teams to achieve top performance in patient experience and employee engagement in less than a year. Her focus on outcomes has led each of her departments to excel in patient quality, fiscal stewardship, and new cardiac care processes.
“I love process improvement and with this amazing team, I don’t think there is anything that can stop us from being our best,” Kelsey said.
Kelsey has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kettering College and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing there.
“Kettering Health Dayton has always been my second family,” she said. “I am grateful for all the relationships I have made here and will continue to make. To continue to grow here is something exciting for me as I grow professionally but also personally in my relationship with my teams.”
