Adam Maycock has been announced as the new forthcoming president of Kettering Health Main Campus.
Adam will join Kettering Health in December, following the retirement of current Kettering Health Main Campus President Sharlet Briggs.
He currently serves as president and CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange and Hinsdale—the latter being the inspiration for Eugene and Virginia Kettering in the ’50s that led to the opening of Kettering Memorial Hospital in 1965.
With more than two decades of healthcare-leadership experience, Adam brings a mind for strategy, a heart for teamwork, and a resolve for excellence in patient care and outcomes.
“Adam’s expertise; passion for accessible, exceptional faith-based healthcare; and commitment to empowering high-performing teams will bolster and elevate Kettering Health Main Campus’s legacy and reputation for excellent care,” said Daniel Wolcott, Kettering Health’s acute care president.
After serving as chief operating officer since January 2017, Adam became president and CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange and Hinsdale in July 2020, guiding the hospitals and surrounding communities through the constraints and challenges of the pandemic.
He championed key growth initiatives, including opening the Center for Advanced Joint Replacement and expanding La Grange’s outpatient cardiovascular services. Before his work in Chicago, Adam spent 13 years with AdventHealth in Tampa and Orlando as a leader in strategy and planning, as well as in ambulatory and acute care services.
“It’s an honor to contribute to the next chapter of Kettering Health’s care, working with physicians and teams at Kettering Health Main Campus to continue driving meaningful change in the Dayton area,” said Maycock.
