Calling all Kettering Health employees – have you heard?
Kettering Health is making updates to its job architecture to create a more consistent, future-focused framework for jobs across the system. These changes will take effect Aug. 16 and include updates to job titles, job descriptions and other job-related information.
Job architecture is the way jobs are organized and named across Kettering Health. These updates are designed to make job information easier to understand, bring consistency, support career growth over time and help prepare Kettering Health’s systems and processes for the future.
Here’s what employees need to know:
- For employees, these changes may include an updated job title and job description that better align with how jobs are framed across the healthcare industry. This isn’t changing the job – it’s bringing clarity to how jobs are defined and how they connect.
- Employees will learn more about their individual job information from their leader before the changes take effect.
- While updated job information will be effective Aug. 16, employees will not see the changes reflected in our systems until Aug. 20 due to standard payroll close and system/data entry processing timelines.
- Once processed, updated job information will be visible in places such as UKG, HealthStream, employee directories and pay stubs.
- Updated job descriptions will be available in Policy Manager prior to Aug. 16 and no longer accessible through HealthStream.
