Kettering Health (KH) will shine a system-wide spotlight on heart disease this year with its annual Go Red for Women Contest.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women.
All team members, physicians, and volunteers are encouraged to participate in National Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb. 6.
How to participate
Send pictures and/or a video showing how you and your co-workers are supporting awareness of heart disease. Remember, the Go Red for Women contest isn’t just about the color of your clothes. Even if you are in uniform, you can wear red accessories and include red props.
All entries will be judged on creativity, red spirit, heart awareness, and overall presentation. The top five photos and videos will then be uploaded to Kettering Health’s Facebook page for voting. The winning team will receive a gift card to be used toward lunch.
Starting Jan. 30, send your photos and/or videos to knews@ketteringhealth.org. All entries must be submitted by Feb. 9.
Previous winners
Last year, Kettering College’s Enrollment Services won the contest. See their winning photo below.
