Kettering Medical Center is hosting a seminar for people suffering from hip pain on Wednesday, July 25 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Kettering Medical Center is located at 3535 Southern Blvd. in Kettering.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a mini health fair. Refreshments will be served.
At 6:00 p.m. Donald Ames, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Kettering Physician Network, will talk about causes of and treatment options for hip pain. Dr. Ames specializes in orthopedic medicine with a special interest in joint replacement. He is a member of the Dayton Orthopedic Society, the Ohio Orthopedic Society, and is an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is an assistant clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University, and a team physician for the Dayton Dragons.
