Trigeminal neuralgia is a chronic pain condition that affects facial nerves. Kettering Medical Center is hosting a seminar for people who would like to get relief from this condition on Wednesday, January 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the hospital’s Nelson Conference Center. Kettering Medical Center is located at 3535 Southern Blvd. in Kettering.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a mini health fair and refreshments.
At 6:00 p.m., Aqueel Pabaney, MD, a neurosurgeon with Kettering Physician Network, will talk about common treatment options for trigeminal neuralgia. Dr. Pabaney is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon who specializes in general neurosurgery and spinal decompressions, as well as complex brain and cranial base surgery, and complex and minimally invasive spine and brain surgeries for tumors, aneurysms, AVMs, facial pain and skull base disorders.
