A video that Kettering Health Network made to support breast cancer awareness and prevention is receiving a special honor.
School Health, a supplier of medical products for school nurses and school health professionals nationwide, is recognizing Kettering Health Network’s music video submission for the Medline Pink Glove Competition with a third place school award for partnering with Miamisburg High School. High school students and faculty served as extras in the network’s music video. Part of the video was shot at Harmon Field in Miamisburg.
An awards ceremony will be held on Friday, November 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Miamisburg High School cafeteria. The high school is located at 1860 Belvo Road in Miamisburg. School Health will be presenting a $250 School Health gift card to Miamisburg High School and $250 to the Pink Ribbon Girls, the network’s designated charity for the Pink Glove Music Video Competition.
The competition is a national video contest that unites more than 200,000 healthcare professionals, breast cancer survivors, patients and communities to honor those who have been affected by breast cancer and to raise money for a cure. Videos were produced in July and nationwide voting took place in September.
