The public is invited to attend an open house at Kettering Health Network’s new 67,000 square-foot medical complex in Middletown on Sunday, August 5 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kettering Health Network Middletown is located at 6147 West State Route 122, just southeast of I-75.
Kids of all ages can explore emergency vehicles including a fire truck, a MedFlight medical helicopter and an ambulance.
Disney Junior Channel’s Doc McStuffins is the featured guest. The character is a 7-year-old girl who can “fix” toys, with a little help from her stuffed animal friends.
A Teddy Bear Clinic will be open during the event. Kids can bring a sick or injured stuffed toy to the clinic to be examined by a doctor.
Carnival games, a bounce house, inflatable slide, balloon artist, face painting and other entertainment will be provided. Live music will be provided by the following local bands: You, Me, and Him; Fifth Crow; and Dave Thornton.
In addition to tours, the event also features a Health Fair that includes free health screenings and wellness information. The public can enjoy a picnic-style cookout free of charge.
