On Friday, February 10, Kettering Health Franklin held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the expansion of services offered at the location.
The facility now includes a medical office building, which will be the new home for our established primary care practice in Franklin that has been providing care in the community since 1988.
Kettering Health Franklin will now offer primary care and lab services, in addition to the existing 24/7 emergency center and imaging services.
“Today is an exciting day for the Franklin community—for its families and students, its residents and neighbors—and their health and well-being,” said Dr. Robert Sawyer, executive medical director, Primary Care for Kettering Health. “We are excited to expand and enhance the high-quality care offered to this community.”
The new medical office will include a team of five primary care providers: two physicians and three advanced practice providers. The long-term goal is to recruit additional primary care providers to the Franklin team to increase access to care in the community.
The 24,000-square-foot, two-story facility includes 24 exams rooms: five more than the previous location. On the second floor, there is approximately 9,500 square feet of shell space to meet the future needs of the community.

Kettering Health Franklin is located at 100 Kettering Way.
