Emergency and Trauma Care

Kettering Health Dayton has been reverified as a Level III trauma center. Every three years, the Verification Review Committee, part of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma, evaluates a trauma center’s capability, resources, and performance. Due to constraints during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACS last verified Kettering Health Dayton on October 26, 2018.
“Being reverified as a Level III trauma center means that we provide a prompt assessment, resuscitation, surgery, intensive care, and stabilization of injured patients and emergency operations,” said Ashley Miller, trauma program manager. “It shows the commitment Kettering Health Dayton has to providing optimal care for our patients.”
