Team members from across Kettering Health gathered Oct. 1 at the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton for Evening with Our Stars, the organization’s annual recognition event celebrating years of service, exceptional care and commitment to its mission.
The system-wide celebration honored employees reaching service milestones from five to 50 years. Team members marking 40, 45 and 50 years of service (see list below) received special recognition, including commemorative videos, awards and a group photo.
The event also recognized Ohio Health Care Worker of the Year nominees and Leader’s Choice Award recipients (see list below) for their contributions to patients, colleagues and the organization. Honorees were celebrated through video tributes, award presentations and group photographs.
Before the program, attendees enjoyed a social hour featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, networking opportunities, photo booths and music as colleagues from across the health system gathered to celebrate one another’s achievements.
The formal program included a devotion from Nestor Bruno, director of mission and ministry for Kettering Health, and remarks from Mike Gentry, president and CEO of Kettering Health. Brooke Harris, chief human resources officer, and Scott McGohan, founder of One Morning, served as emcees.
Throughout the evening, the focus remained on the remarkable team members whose dedication helps advance Kettering Health’s mission every day. From long-time employees celebrating decades of service to award recipients recognized for exceptional contributions, the event highlighted the impact team members make across the organization and the communities it serves.
The celebration included a performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Jonathan McReynolds.
