This event recognizes employees who live Kettering Health’s mission, provide exceptional care, and have reached a milestone year of service. In addition to the awards and recognitions, we are excited to have entertainment by Michael Jr., to help our team celebrate.

The evening will include entertainment by Michael Jr., a comedic thought-leader and dynamic storyteller who brings laughter and encouragement to audiences all over the world. He’s appeared on The Tonight Show on NBC, TEDx Talks, and Jimmy Kimmel Live in addition to starring roles in Selfie Dad, Laughing on Purpose, and More Than Funny.

Frequently Asked Questions
Employees are given one year of credit for every calendar year in which they work a minimum of 400 hours at a Kettering Health facility. To receive credit for their first year of hire, an employee must meet this requirement before May 1 in their year of hire.
Most people can stay in their seats for the event. Employees celebrating 40 or more years of service are called to the front as a group. Additional groups called to the front are Leader’s Choice award winners, Living the Mission award winners, and Ohio Hospital Association Health Care Worker of the Year award nominees.
Yes! You are allowed to bring one guest to join you for the evening. If you are celebrating 40 or more years of service, you are entitled to a luxury chauffeured vehicle for the evening and can bring up to seven guests.
Complimentary parking for all event attendees is available in the Arts Garage, located adjacent to the Schuster Performing Arts Center at 121 W. 2nd St., Dayton OH 45402.
While some employees choose to dress up, it is not required. Some employees come in business casual for the evening.
If you are celebrating a service award milestone, a yearbook catalog will be mailed to your home in September. The yearbook catalog includes instructions to select a special gift and a commemorative pin through our service award vendor, OC Tanner. The deadline to place your order is December 1, 2024.
