Dayton Art Institute – With rotating exhibits and special programs for kids, the iconic Dayton Art Institute is a great place to plan a wintry visit. Students and youth receive free admission, seniors and military are $5, and adult admission is just $8. Visit their website to see the current offerings and programs.
National Museum of the U.S. Air Force – Open seven days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (minus major holidays), the National Museum of the Air Force is free and has exhibits that will interest all ages.
Scene 75 – From laser tag to mini bowling to arcade games, you can find all kinds of entertainment under one roof. There is no cost for admission; you simply pay per activity. Visit their website for a complete list of activities and prices.
Boonshoft Museum of Discovery – Featuring fun and educational permanent and rotating exhibits, the Boonshoft Museum has something for everyone. Children under 3 are free. Visit their website for current programs and admission costs.
Sky Zone – An indoor trampoline park is the perfect place to bounce away the winter blues. There are designated times for toddlers, children, and adults. Parties and special events are also offered. Their webpage has a complete listing of opportunities and prices.
Urban Krag – An indoor climbing gym offering climbing opportunities for those 4 years old and above. All participants must complete a waiver and belay certification before climbing. Pricing and hours are available on their webpage.
