Russ Wetherell, president of Grandview Medical Center System, is retiring effective April 30, 2017. Rebecca Lewis, president of Southview Medical Center, part of Grandview Medical Center System, has been named Grandview president.
Wetherell has held a number of positions during his 21-year career with Kettering Health Network. Prior to being named president of Grandview in 2014, he served as president of Southview Medical Center, chief financial officer for Kettering Health Network, chief financial officer for Grandview Medical Center, and executive director of a physician alliance.
“I am grateful for the leadership Russ has given to the network and our community,” says Fred Manchur, CEO of Kettering Health Network. “Russ has been a great mentor and leaves strong leaders at Grandview and Southview. We thank him for his many years of service.”
Before joining Kettering Health Network, Lewis was CEO of Knox County Hospital in Kentucky. She joined Kettering Health Network in 2009 at Grandview Medical Center, first as director of perioperative services at Grandview and later becoming vice president of patient care in 2012. Becky became president of Southview Medical Center in 2014.
In her time at Southview she has built new community partnerships that position Kettering Health Network to improve lives within the communities we serve. Becky approaches physicians and staff as true partners, building trusting relationships. She has been a blessing to the Southview family, bringing enthusiasm for our mission and employee culture.
