Grandview Medical Center is celebrating its 90th anniversary and is inviting its neighbors and the entire Dayton area to celebrate with its employees and volunteers by hosting a number of events throughout the year.
Grandview was founded in 1926 by three doctors of osteopathic medicine in a home on West Second Street in downtown Dayton with a $25 operating table from World War I. Today the five-story, 296-bed hospital is situated in the historic Five Oaks neighborhood in Dayton on Grand Avenue. Grandview is one of the largest osteopathic community teaching hospitals in the U.S.
