Grandview Medical Center’s Grandview Foundation and the Dorothy Lane Culinary Center are hosting An Evening of Culinary Education on Thursday, October 25 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Dorothy Lane Market Culinary Center, 6177 Far Hills Avenue in Washington Twp.
Guests will enjoy five delicious and healthy courses prepared by Dorothy Lane Market’s Chef Carrie, while learning about Prescription for Health—Eat Well: Be Well, an interdisciplinary program developed by a Grandview Medical Center physician and a University of Dayton Dietetics professor.
The program’s evidence-based curriculum and hands-on “teaching kitchens” empower resident physicians and dietetic students with knowledge and confidence to encourage patients to make food and lifestyle choices to treat and prevent disease.
The cost of the culinary education class is $95 ($50 is tax deductible). All proceeds benefit the Eat Well: Be Well program culinary medicine class.
