Fort Hamilton Hospital is celebrating Heart Month in February with an evening of fun and healthy activities. Fort Hamilton is hosting Heart of Hamilton on Thursday, February 9 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Fitton Center, 101 S. Monument Ave. in Hamilton.

The event features refreshments, door prizes, cooking demonstrations, and a health fair with a free 10-minute heart check and a $10 cholesterol blood test.

Faisal Khan, MD, a cardiologist with Kettering Physician Network-Cardiovascular Care, will talk about cardiac disorders. Kelly M Nolte, APRN-CNS, a family certified nurse specialist at Kettering Physician Network-Cardiovascular Care, will discuss women’s heart health.
