In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fort Hamilton Hospital is hosting Cones Against Cancer on Friday, October 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Courthouse Square, 101 High Street in Hamilton.
Flub’s Ice Cream will provide pink ice cream cones, Fort Hamilton Hospital will hand out gift bags while supplies last, and you can enter for a chance to win prizes.
Staff and physicians from Fort Hamilton Hospital will be on hand to provide breast health information and answer questions. Women also can schedule a mammogram at the event.
Fort Hamilton Hospital, through a grant from Fort Hamilton Foundation, is now offering the latest advancement in 3D Mammography technology. 3D Tomosynthesis provides extremely detailed images, presenting a much clearer, higher resolution picture of the breast structures to the radiologist.
