The Colleagues of Fort Hamilton Hospital and the Fort Hamilton Hospital Foundation will take you “back to the future” at their annual fundraising gala, Ticket to Hollywood. It will be held on Saturday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1 Riverfront Plaza in Hamilton.
This year’s Ticket to Hollywood movie theme is from the blockbuster Back to the Future, a science fiction comedy film series. The series follows the adventures of a high school student, Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox), and an eccentric scientist, Dr. Emmett L. Brown (played by Christopher Lloyd), as they use a DeLorean time machine to travel through time to different periods in the history of Hill Valley, California.
Ticket to Hollywood guests can enjoy food from the Back to the Future buffet, featuring carving stations, a mashed potato bar, a variety of salads and other delicious options.
Entertainment will be provided by the Soul Pocket Band. The band has been performing in the Cincinnati area for more than 15 years with a high energy mix of Soul, Motown, R&B, Rock and Funk.
Dress is business casual or you can dress as your favorite Back to the Future character.
Reservations are $60 per person and are available from the Fort Hamilton Hospital Foundation. For more information about reservations or sponsorship opportunities, contact Sonja Kranbuhl at (513) 867-5492 or sonja.kranbuhl@ketteringhealth.org.
Proceeds from the event will benefit orthopedic services at Fort Hamilton Hospital. Over the past five years, Ticket to Hollywood sponsors and attendees have raised $155,000 to provide the hospital with a 3D Mammography with Tomosynthesis machine, support the Emergency Department expansion and the remodeling of the Family Birthplace as well as support heart and vascular care.
