The Colleagues of Fort Hamilton Hospital and the Fort Hamilton Hospital Foundation invite you to a tribute of movie musicals while raising money for a good cause. The annual fundraising gala, Ticket to Hollywood will be held on Saturday, October 22 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, 101 South Monument Avenue in Hamilton.
This year’s Ticket to Hollywood movie theme is Broadway Goes Hollywood and recognizes Broadway shows that were made into Hollywood movies including The Phantom of the Opera, Jersey Boys, Mama Mia!, and The King and I.
Guests will be able to choose from several food stations offering antipasto, braised short ribs, pasta, and a dessert and coffee bar. The event also includes live music by Jim McBride and Treva Boardman, and a silent auction.
Dress is festive Broadway attire (black tie preferred).
Reservations are $65 per person and are available from the Fort Hamilton Hospital Foundation. For more information about reservations or sponsorship opportunities, contact Sonja Kranbuhl at 513-867-5492 or sonja.kranbuhl@ketteringhealth.org.
Proceeds from the event will help underwrite the cost of a new 3D Mammography machine at Fort Hamilton Hospital. 3D Mammography with Tomosynthesis provides extremely precise imagery, presenting a much clearer, higher resolution picture of the breast structure to the radiologist. This gives patients and their physicians the opportunity to locate potential issues within the breast tissues earlier while reducing the number of unnecessary biopsies
