The stars aligned for a select group of Kettering Health employees on the evening of September 20 at the annual employee recognition event, An Evening with Our Stars.
The event recognized employees who reached a milestone year of service in 2023 (in five-year increments up to 50) and employees who received the Living the Mission award, Leader’s Choice award, or were an Ohio Healthcare Association (OHA) Health Care Worker of the Year nominee.
Twenty-one employees who have been with the organization for 40+ years were chauffeured to the event in luxury vehicles and recognized on stage. We had three employees celebrating 50 years of service: Francine Armstrong, Penelope Beery, and Donna Furderer.
The evening included a reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres, door prizes, and a concert from Grammy-winning artist Cece Winans.
