On January 26th of this year I had neck surgery performed by Dr. Audrey Grenga. It went well and I am now home recovering.

I am an 81 year old individual and have had numerous surgeries and still suffer from severe arthiritis. I went into this surgery because I was having great difficulity in day to day activities and was in danger of becoming paraylized.

I chose Kettering because of prior surgery a few years ago and felt comfortable using your facility again. Initially, Dr. Mark Hoprich was going to peform my surgery, but scheduling was changed to Dr. Audrey Grenga. I was apprehensive with the change, but decided to go forward. In looking back I must say my apprehension was unfounded. The surgery went well and the Doctors, nurses, and staff were all very proffesional. My nursing staff after surgery were SUPER and provided me great care.

I also want to tke this opportunity to especially recogonize Dr. Grenga. She took time to explain what surgery would entail and what would happen afterwards. She was not only very proffesional but also a fine person in general conversation. She did mention that she was an Air Force Major working with Kettering. She is a credit to the Air Force as well as Kettering and I would certainly not be apprehensive about any future surgeries by her. My recovery is going well, but with my arthritis life is still somewhat of a struggle, However, Dr. Grenga has contributed in making what time I have left in this world more bearable.

In closing, I again want to thank all all the folks at Kettering for their dedication, time and effort, in making my surgery as pleasant and uncomplicated as possible.

HE PICKS UP PRECEPTING SHIFTS, WILL ADD ADDITIONAL PATIENTS ONTO HIS SCHEDULE THAT NEED TO BE SEEN, AND MAKES SURE ANY LAST-MINUTE MEDICATIONS OR FORMS ARE COMPLETED. DR. GASKILL ALWAYS HAS A SMILE AND ALL THE STAFF ENJOY WORKING WITH HIM. HIS PEERS, RESIDENTS, AND MEDICAL STUDENTS LEARN A GREAT DEAL WHEN HE PRECEPTS.
