Built for This Community
Kettering Health Troy opened in 2019 with one clear goal: bring high-quality care closer to the communities north of Dayton. Though it is a smaller campus, do not let the size fool you. Between a busy emergency center, a full cancer center, operating rooms, and a range of outpatient and diagnostic services, there is a lot happening here and a team that genuinely loves being part of it.
Built on land once occupied by Troy institution Hobart Brothers, with stone from the city’s historic canal lock worked into the landscaping, Kettering Health Troy was designed with the community in mind from the start, and that has not changed.
Miami County is a growing community with healthcare needs to match, and this campus is a full-service destination for the people who live here. Emergency care, cancer treatment, surgery, and a wide range of specialty services are all available without the drive to a larger city. For team members, that proximity means patients are often neighbors, people you see at the Strawberry Festival or the downtown tree lighting. It makes the work feel personal in the best way. The team here is tight-knit and community-rooted, and those qualities show up in everything from how shifts are run to how the campus shows up for local events throughout the year.
