Kettering Health is once again supporting team members and their families through the annual School Backpack and Supplies Event. It’s an initiative that reflects the system’s mission to live God’s love by promoting and restoring health in practical, meaningful ways.
The program provides eligible students of Kettering Health employees with backpacks and essential school supplies, helping families prepare for the upcoming school year. As back-to-school costs continue to rise, this effort helps ease financial pressure and supports the overall well-being of employees and their children.
Applications for the 2026 program are open to employees through June 26 and may be accessed through this link.
The opportunity is available to employees who have been with Kettering Health for at least six months and are applying for legal dependents in grades K–12. Employees are asked to include a brief description of their current circumstances, with one application allowed per household to ensure fair access.
Employees will be notified of their application status by July 20. For those approved, backpacks and supplies will be available for pickup at individual campuses during the week of July 27.
For those interested in contributing to the School Backpack and Supplies Event, the Amazon registry will be open July 1 through July 17.
