On June 1, Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson is holding the second annual Celebrity Softball Game at the Dayton Dragons stadium to raise awareness for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
The gates at Day Air Ballpark open at noon, followed by a home run derby at 2 p.m. and a seven-inning softball game at 3 p.m.
Employees can purchase tickets for the game here using the code “DSTH.” Tickets will go on sale to the public on April 1. Ticket prices range from $15 to $50 and parking is available at daytondragons.com/directions
The game, presented by Kettering Health, will raise funds for the Brooks Joshua Anderson Foundation, which advocates for SIDS prevention and awareness. Logan is actively involved with this charity and selected it as the donation recipient for the event.
Besides Logan Wilson, several other players will participate in the softball game like defensive end Sam Hubbard, defensive end Trey Hendrickson, linebacker Germaine Pratt, cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt, safety Jordan Battle, running back Trayveon Williams, linebacker Joe Bachie, cornerback Jalen Davis, kicker Evan McPherson, former Bengals running back Giovani Bernard, and former Bengals punter Kevin Huber. Coach Zac Taylor will also attend and play in the game.
