Taking a proactive approach to your health starts with the basics: routine checkups, screenings, and building healthy habits that support your well-being over time. UMR Preventive care, along with dental and vision coverage, plays an important role in helping you catch potential issues early and stay on track. Beyond these essentials, supplemental benefits like critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity coverage can provide added support when unexpected health events arise. Together, these benefits are designed to give you confidence in your care, helping you focus on staying healthy while being prepared for whatever comes next.
Superior Dental*
Dental exams help protect your health. Dental checkups are an important part of preventive health care because they help protect not just your oral health, but your overall health, as well. During a routine checkup, the dentist will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth for signs of disease and other potential problems.
All eligible employees may choose between two dental plans. These plans vary in the types of services covered, copayment reimbursement percentage, and benefit maximums. You select the plan that best meets your and your familyโs needs. Preventative care is covered at 100% under both plans.
- Your SDC dental plan offers the same level of benefits in or out of network. However, you can save an average of 20% by visiting a network dentist or specialist.
- SDC offers one of the largest dental networks in the United States. Find a participating SDC network dentist or specialist near you at https://www.superiordental.com/find-a-dentist.
