Kettering Health has historically supported staff during specific times of the year when help with family expenses might be needed–including a school supply drive. With the school year coming up, it’s time to kick off this year’s backpack and school supply drive.
Here’s how you can participate this year:
Donate Supplies
This year individuals, teams or departments can purchase items through an Amazon Registry and have items directly shipped to 1 Prestige Place, Ste 110. If you or your team is willing to purchase items, please complete this form so we have an idea of what resources will be available to share with our employees. Deadline for supplies to be received is July 29, 2024.
Request Support
Employees needing assistance with back-to-school supplies, please apply by Friday, July 12. Be sure to review the eligibility criteria below as it has been updated since our last drive.
Eligibility Criteria
- Kettering Health employee for 6 months
- Only apply for legal dependents
- One application per household/family
- Apply/receive assistance for only two events (events include backpack and school supply drive, Thanksgiving food drive, and Christmas Adopt-a-Family)
- Application must include brief high-level description of your current circumstances/why assistance is needed
The organization strives to meet the employee needs. The criteria below outlines how requests are prioritized when we are unable to meet all requests:
- Top priority: first-time applicants
- Second priority: applicants who haven’t received support in two or more years
- Third priority: applicants who received assistance in the prior year and/or multiple recent years
Backpacks will be available for pick-up August 5 and 6. You will be notified by July 26, if we are able to accommodate your request.
