Siobhan Fagan, an athletic trainer at Kettering Health Main Campus, recently received the 2023 Athletic Trainer Service Award from the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA).
She was recognized with this award for her dedication to leadership, volunteer service, advocacy, and professional activities at both the state and local levels. The award was given at the 74th NATA Clinical Symposia in June.
As part of her role at Kettering Health, Fagan provides medical care for East Dayton Christian School. She is the current Ohio state representative to the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association. She contributes her time and energy as a senior lecturer and clinical education coordinator for Wright State University’s Master of Athletic Training program. Fagan previously served as president of the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association and played an instrumental role in maintaining and updating the Athletic Training Practice Act in the State of Ohio.
