Update as of 1/11/24
Beginning Saturday, January 13, the weather forecast is predicting extremely cold temperatures for the next 7 to 10 days. This will impact the Martin Luther King Jr. Day community events happening January 14-15, and we want to encourage you to prepare accordingly to ensure your safety.
The two articles below from the Kettering Health Strive health blog provide tips to stay warm and safe in freezing temperatures. Please consider these before heading outside this weekend.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Kettering Health is pleased to support the legacy and vision that King preached.
Our dedication to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace is strongly reflected in his vision of a country where people are assessed on the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.
“We must come to see that the end we seek is a society at peace with itself, a society that can live with its conscience.”
Martin Luther King Jr., 1965
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our chaplains will provide devotionals throughout the day at campuses in recognition of the observance.
