Dear Kettering Health Family,
Each year, we take intentional time to review our performance in our key result areas: Quality, Mission and Culture, Patient Experience, and Finance. These areas of focus help us define annual goals, as we seek to provide the highest quality care for our communities. They also serve as a way to measure our progress and guide our approach to results-sharing.
In 2022, we met threshold and target goals in two of our four Key Result Areas—and based on that performance, Kettering Health will be sharing more than $5 million with our employee family. Eligible employees will receive up to $160 of results-sharing payout on May 18.

In reflecting on our performance in Key Result Areas, it’s equally important to remember the reason we strive for those goals: our mission. Improving the lives of people in our communities is only possible through a shared commitment, and in 2022, you came together to support not only our communities, but also each other. The effort, determination, and drive you showed in pursuit of our goals was inspiring, and our successes would not be possible without each and every one of you. To honor that, Kettering Health will also be sharing more than $10 million as an appreciation gift for our employee family. Eligible employees will receive up to $1,000 on June 1.
The results sharing payout and appreciation gift are a thank-you, both for the goals you helped us achieve and the effort that made them possible. You’ve proven time and time again that you are committed to serving our community, and your passion for providing high-quality care is evident every day on our campuses. Thank you for all you’ve done—and continue to do—as we work together to improve the lives of people we serve.
