Education is an important part of growth and development. As an employee, you have access to a few perks that can help make earning a degree or certificate simpler.
Kettering Health Education Assistance Program
Our Education Assistance Program provides financial aid to employees pursuing an undergraduate degree and/or certificate, a graduate degree, or a certification.
If you think you may be interested in taking advantage of the Education Assistance program, see information about eligibility and program options in the FAQ Knowledge Article and program policy.

Dawn Allmond, an onboarding associate in the Recruitment Department, utilized the Education Assistance Program to earn her Associate of Science in Business Administration at Colorado Technical University.
Dawn works full time and is a mom of four children who are very active in sports and after-school activities. Though she wanted to further her education, she didn’t think she could manage it all. When she expressed this to her manager, he encouraged her to look into the Education Assistance Program.
“I was able to find everything easily and enroll easily. Everyone at the school was very helpful. I was able to get my degree online in 10 months, and this was at no cost to me,” Dawn said. “I was able to easily balance attending school and working full time as well as continue to be involved with my children’s activities. I NEVER thought this was something I would be able to accomplish, but because of this program, I did. I am now moving on to get my bachelor’s degree. I hope to graduate in August 2025!”
Dawn strongly recommends the program to other employees. “I encourage anyone considering the Education Assistance Program to do it! Do it for yourself and the opportunities it will bring your way.”
