Sign up today to participate in the 14th annual Spring into Health 5k walk/run on Sunday, April 16. The proceeds from the event will go to Good Neighbor House and Kettering Health Young Professionals.
Early registration is available now through March 31 for $35–if you register by then, you will receive a t-shirt. On April 1, the registration cost increases to $40 and t-shirts are not guaranteed.
Good Neighbor House was founded by eight Dayton-area Seventh-day Adventist churches in 1994. It supports the underserved in our community by providing food pantry services, health promotion, clothing, and household items to individuals and families in need.
Kettering Health Young Professionals is a professional development group for Kettering Health employees between the ages of 20-35. The group is focused on creating opportunities for young professionals to connect with one another outside of daily work to foster growth, inspiration, and networking. They plan a few speaking events during the year, as well as some social events.
Race details:
- Location and parking: The race begins and ends at Kettering College, 3737 Southern Blvd. Please park in the large lot on the east side of Southern Boulevard.
- Time:
- Noon: Race-day packet pickup and race weekend entry at Kettering College
- 2 p.m.: Race begins
- Prizes: All race finishers will be entered in a drawing for a door prize. Additional prizes will be awarded to best overall male and female finishers, as well as male and female 1st- , 2nd- , and 3rd-place finishers in each age group. Two team awards will also be given.
