As of Sunday, February 5, Kettering Health has officially transitioned to its new time and attendance system, UKG Dimensions.
What this means for you
Previously, scheduling and staffing was housed in a platform that had to be accessed separately from our time and attendance system. With UKG Dimensions, scheduling and timekeeping is in one location for easier access and management. This enables upgraded scheduling capabilities, user-friendly reporting and analytics options, an easy-to-navigate platform, and increased efficiency. It also provides data that leaders and departments can use to better understand and manage their teams.
Effective immediately, UKG Dimensions is the tool to complete the following actions, depending on your level of access:
- Punch in and out (all hourly employees)
- Complete a transfer of your time for floating to other units (all hourly employees)
- Swap shifts (all hourly employees)
- View your schedule (all employees)
- Request time off and view PTO bank (all employees)
- Schedule shifts (leaders/timekeepers)
- Manage timekeeping (leaders/timekeepers)
- Review, correct, and approve your timecard (all employees)
You can complete all UKG-related tasks on the UKG Pro™ Mobile App, except punching in and out. Directions for downloading the app are available here.
If you have not yet completed the mandatory all-employee training in HealthStream, please do so promptly.
As is to be expected with any large-scale process change, there will be questions. We’re happy to offer several resources you can utilize to get timely and accurate answers about the new tool.
