Kettering Health is committed to continually evaluating our benefit offerings, so we can provide our employees with valuable programs. After a thorough evaluation, we have selected new vendors for some of our supplemental benefit offerings.
Lincoln Financial will be our new vendor for Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity, and TransAmerica will be our new vendor for Universal Life (previously called Whole Life). Both vendors provide expertise, reliability, and a commitment to quality. These changes will also lead to better benefit offerings and a better claims processing experience for our employees, while maintaining or lowering the cost of premiums. The policy changes go into effect April 1, 2025.
How to learn more
You can learn more about these changes during employee meetings that are happening February 10-14. The meetings will be held on Microsoft Teams, and calendar invites have been sent to all employees’ Kettering Health emails. The meeting schedule is below for reference:
- Monday, February 10 – 11 a.m.-noon
- Monday, February 10 – 3-4 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 12 – 9:30-10:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, February 12 – 11 a.m.-noon
- Friday, February 14 – 9-10 a.m.
- Friday, February 14 – 11 a.m.-noon
Updating your selections
Enrollment for these benefits will occur February 17-28. At this time, employees can update their current enrollment in these benefits, or sign up for these benefits for the first time. Note, if no action is taken, the employee’s current coverage will roll over to the new vendor.
Enrollers will be available on site via appointment, which can be scheduled by clicking here. They’re also available over the phone Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. No appointment is needed when enrolling over the phone–simply call (937) 396-6426.
