We’re excited to announce two new leadership roles in our Finance Department—Scott Kenney at the system level and Nicholas (Nick) Henson at the campus level.
Scott Kenney will be joining Kettering Health as vice president of Finance and Treasury. In this role, he will provide oversight for accounting, treasury, and monthly financial review for our System Services division. Scott joins our organization from Brixley & Meyer, a local accounting and business consulting firm, where he served as partner. He brings a wealth of finance expertise, supporting businesses in CFO roles across a variety of industries—including healthcare and nonprofits. He also has a proven background in identifying and implementing opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Nick Henson will begin serving as director of Finance for Kettering Health Miamisburg and Kettering Health Washington Township. He joined the organization in 2015 as the director of Finance and Administration at Kettering College, where he managed various financial portfolios, including overseeing the annual budgets of the college, hospital facilities, and various patient care departments. Recently, he’s also assisted Kettering Health Troy leadership by providing monthly financial reports to ensure transparency and aid in informed decision-making processes. Nick will continue lending support to Kettering College while we search for a new finance leader to support that team.
When asked what his transition from Kettering College to KH Miamisburg and Washington Township means to him, Nick said, “It represents an opportunity to continue the great work that has been happening at Washington Township and Miamisburg. The emphasis is on maintaining and enhancing a culture centered on caring for patients and each other while providing high-quality care.”
He continued, “The most exciting aspect is the opportunity to support the clinical teams as they deliver the exceptional care for which these facilities are known.”
Congratulations, Scott and Nick!
