We’re excited to announce that Norman Spence has been named president of Kettering Health Troy.
Serving at Kettering Health for nearly 13 years, Norman is currently facility administrator and director of Strategy and Operations for Kettering Health Middletown and Kettering Health Franklin. While leading those facilities, Norman has demonstrated a commitment to both patients and staff, driving increases in patient experience scores as well as employee engagement. He also led improvements in referrals, streamlining the process for primary care providers and connecting more patients with specialists and outpatient services.
“Being able to bring the community to this mission and having the opportunity to serve them is vital for me. Having the ability to impact the culture for our employees in a positive way and provide them with a place of acceptance and security is also imperative, and I don’t take that for granted,” said Norman.
No stranger to Troy, he previously served as regional director of Business Development for Kettering Health Main Campus, Troy, and Piqua. In that time, he developed and implemented the plan that brought pain management, women’s health, and orthopedic services to Troy.
“The people, both internal and external, are the most integral part of this new role. I’m very humbled by this opportunity, and I am honored to have the chance to connect with and support the residents of Troy and the surrounding areas,” he continued. “I’m excited to learn as much as I can about the Troy community and the people who reside there.”
Congratulations, Norman!
