Laura Mallow is going to Disney World!

Each year, dozens of team members are recognized for their commitment to our values and mission, earning recognition as employee of the month. And thanks to support from the Dayton Dragons, employees of the month throughout the year are also entered into a random prize drawing for a trip to Disney World. 

Laura is the winner of this year’s drawing, earning employee of the month in February 2024. 

Laura’s a nurse on 2E Short Stay Cardiac Unit at Kettering Health Main Campus, and she was nominated for employee of the month by her manager, Charlotte Mercer: 

“I received a letter from one of Laura’s patients who was a little apprehensive of the procedure he was having … In the letter, [the patient] compliments Laura and her performance. Laura was efficient, cheerful, and answered all questions satisfactorily. She displayed courtesy and had a good sense of humor. By doing so, Laura made an uncomfortable experience much more bearable. She certainly merits recognition for her professionalism and knowledge. She is a valuable asset to your staff.
