
Period poverty affects two out of every five women in the United States—a startling statistic that prompted our system’s first Period Poverty Donation Drive.
In honor of Period Poverty Awareness Week, we’re excited to share the results of our donation drive.
Donations of pads, tampons, and liners from 16 participating locations across our system have gone to Femme Aid Collaborative, a Dayton-based, women-owned nonprofit organization. In all, we collected 564 packages of feminine products.
Femme Aid Collaborative will distribute the donations to areas of need in the community. We admire the work they do and are blessed that we could contribute.
