For decades, hospitals have been serving their communities. Kettering Health is part of the team of over 6,000 hospitals and health systems nationwide providing hope and comfort to patients and families through their care. Hospital Week is our time to pause and reflect on the impact of healthcare throughout history, and to celebrate you: the inspiring team delivering and supporting compassionate, high-quality care in our community.

During the week of May 15-19, Hospital Week celebrations will include
Campus events
During the week, we’ll be hosting two on-campus events where you can receive a snack while enjoying music and a photo op. One day will feature Philly Pretzels with dip and the other will feature fruit and Killer Brownies. See the event schedule for your campus below.
We will also impact our community through the events by personalizing care packages for our patients. You will have the opportunity to select an inspirational postcard and write a personalized message of encouragement and support on the back. These postcards will be added to care packets that include items to help make our patient’s stay more comfortable: ear plugs, lotion, hard candies, an activity book, and a pen and crayons.
Offsite teams will receive a Hospital Week kit—everything you need to host a celebration in your location.

Giveaway
This year, we are offering a t-shirt that you will be able to order in your designated uniform color. At the campus events, you’ll have the opportunity to see samples and place your order for the appropriate t-shirt size and uniform color.
You can order your t-shirt online by navigating to the uniform store, Kettering Health Outfitters, and clicking the banner that says, “Order your Hospital Week t-shirt here!” When you’re filling out the form, the site will give two different options for delivery (shipping or pick up at Lizard). Regardless of the option you choose, the shirt will be provided at on-site distributions in late June.
All orders must be in by May 26.
