On Monday, April 8, Greater Dayton experienced a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event: a total solar eclipse. Many teams across our system gathered to witness the rare occurrence together. Below are examples of how two facilities celebrated and some of their photos from the day.

Kettering Health Senior Living

The team at Kettering Health Senior Living hosted a party for residents and employees complete with protective eclipse glasses, eclipse-shaped cookies, MoonPies, and Sunkist sodas.

Kettering Health Behavioral Medical Center

KH Behavioral Medical Center provided eclipse glasses to all employees and patients and gathered on the lawn to share the experience.
