Kettering Health employees volunteered with local nonprofit B Love Foundation to help families get ready for the back-to-school season.
On August 17, team members and their families helped distribute free school supplies, clothing, and shoes while attendees enjoyed a cookout and could get free blood pressure checks. The volunteers are part of Robert Patterson Unity Forum, an employee resource group at Kettering Health that aims to provide mentorship and career development while serving the community.
“The Robert Patterson Unity Forum team did such a wonderful job jumping in to help from start to finish,” said Tiphany Anderson, one of the afternoon’s volunteers. “It was my great pleasure to do the work of God, to give to His people, and to meet their needs as His disciple in motion.”
