On June 25, the Dayton Dragons hosted a Healthcare Heroes game to thank healthcare workers for the care they provide to the community.
On the plaza outside the stadium, attendees had the opportunity to thank a healthcare hero and sign a banner that will be rotated throughout our medical centers.
Emily Martz and Alex Brummett, athletic trainers at Kettering Health Washington Township, threw out the first pitch. Emily and Alex were recognized in April for their quick, lifesaving actions in an emergent situation. They received the American Heart Association Heartsaver Hero Award for their efforts.

Thank you to all of our healthcare heroes who, like Emily and Alex, are prepared to act quickly when life-threatening situations arise.
