Main St. This service is provided with a $20 flat fee at time of service for point-of-care tests such as rapid strep swab, rapid flu swab, and urine dip test. Additional cost will be incurred by outside lab if testing is completed. Patients will be seen by a physician or nurse practitioner in the order of arrival.
When to use drop-in care
This service is available for minor acute issues to be addressed when your child’s primary care physician is not available. Acute issues include cold and flu symptoms, sore throat, fever, ear pain, pink eye, seasonal allergies, insect bites, diaper rash, or symptoms indicating a urinary tract infection. Your child’s primary care physician will receive a copy of the visit notes if a name is provided at registration.
Drop-in visits do not include immunizations, well checks, sports physicals, evaluation and treatment of mental health conditions, or medication refills.
Employees may use drop-in care even if your child does not have a primary care physician. You may also choose to establish your child as a patient of KPN Pediatrics Springboro and receive both well and acute care.
