The 2023 Thanksgiving food drive and Christmas Adopt-a-Family Program are now open. We’re supporting our own Kettering Health team members who are in need for the holidays. Last year a combined 350+ families were able to receive assistance because of colleagues willingness to share some of their holiday cheer.

These programs bring joy to not only those whom receive but also those who give. Below you will find links to donate and apply for assistance, and key deadlines.

Thanksgiving food drive

• Sign up to donate food items
  • Individuals can sign up to donate food items to be provided to employees in need for their Thanksgiving meals.
  • The deadline to sign up is November 3; the deadline to drop off donated food is November 10.
  • Click here to sign up to donate a specific food item, you can choose what you’d like to donate, anything will help. Once on the website to donate, click “book” to select the desired items and enter your personal information.

• Apply for Thanksgiving assistance
  • Employees in need of help for Thanksgiving can apply for donated grocery goods including
    • Canned green beans, canned corn, instant mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, gravy mix, bread/muffin mix, brownie mix, and sparkling grape juice
  • The deadline to request assistance is November 3.

Christmas Adopt-a-Family Program

• Sign up to adopt a family or multiple families
  • Employees or departments can adopt a family or multiple families to support with gifts or food this Christmas.
  • Based on the information you submit, we will match you with a family to support.
  • If you are combining with another department to adopt a family, please complete only one sign-up form and designate one person to be the contact.
  • The deadline to sign up is November 3.

• Apply for Christmas assistance
  • Employees in need can request assistance with gifts for their children or food for their family this holiday season. Simply fill out the form and you’ll be notified of approval.
