Congratulations to Crystal Carson and Lacey Larick from the Kettering Health Springboro Health Center on receiving a Constellation Award!
The Constellation Award recognizes strong teams that come together to serve patients and each other. They demonstrate a calling to care, live the organization’s values, and show exceptional performance as defined by Kettering Health’s Standards of Behavior.

Check out their nomination:
“When an elderly gentleman presented to Springboro Health Center lost and confused, Lacey knew he needed help and reached out to the primary care healthcare navigator, Crystal, to assist. The gentleman walked into the health center after driving for nearly an hour looking for an address to handle some personal affairs.
“After spending some time speaking with him, it became apparent to Lacey and Crystal that he was confused and driving home alone may not be safe. They contacted the local police for assistance but were advised they were unable to escort the gentleman home. Crystal and Lacey provided him with snacks while he was in the building after he expressed he was hungry. They sat with him, comforted him, and attempted to contact family to assist him home.
“After being unsuccessful in securing safe transport through family and the local police, Crystal obtained an Uber to transport him safely home. Both of these members of the team go above and beyond to be friendly, kind, and caring to all they come in contact with! It would have been easy to turn the gentleman away after discovering he was not a patient, but they took the time listen and made it their mission to selflessly help this man in a time of need. Lacey and Crystal’s genuine caring helped ensure the patient wasn’t hungry and got home safely.”
