With the ending of the federal COVID-19 public health emergency, and the lower rates in our counties, we are excited to announce several changes to our current COVID protocols.
- Masks: Masks will now be optional unless caring for a suspected or confirmed patient with COVID. We will continue to have masks available for those who prefer to wear masks. Isolation practices for patients who have been confirmed with COVID will continue.
- Testing: We will no longer test patients who go into semi-privates.
We will continue to monitor the incidence of COVID-19 to determine if we need to modify this approach.
Here’s What’s Continuing
- Vaccinations: We are still following CMS guidelines for vaccinations. We are expecting changes to this in the near future.
- Data Reporting: We continue to have data reporting requirements.
Thank you for the amazing care you’ve provided to our teams, patients, and families over the past three years.
