Matt Wainscott and Jerry Humphrey – Kettering Health Troy
“I had gone out to my car and realized I had a flat tire on my rental car. After contacting the rental agency, they told me I would have to take it to be repaired. A co-worker had told me that Police and Security may have a portable air compressor. I reached out to Matt, and he met me in the parking lot right away. After 15 minutes of my tire making no progress, he contacted Jerry. Jerry came out and they both decided it was too flat for me to drive it to be repaired. I would have had to wait a few hours and potentially have someone come pick me up, so they offered to put on the spare tire for me in the parking lot.
I was so appreciative. This was obviously not part of their assigned duties, and they assured me it was no issue. What would have taken me potentially a few hours to resolve took them a fraction of the time. This wasn’t an isolated incident. Matt and Jerry always go the extra mile to help not only me but KH Troy’s staff as a whole and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Their willingness to help others, work-related or not, is what makes them such valuable members of our KH Troy team. I feel lucky to work with people as selfless as them.”
