An Evening with Our Stars Celebrates Employee Milestones and Excellence

On Wednesday, September 10, more than 1,000 employees were recognized at Kettering Health’s annual An Evening with Our Stars.

The event recognized employees who reached a milestone year of service in 2025 (in five-year increments up to 60) and employees who received the Leader’s Choice Award or were Ohio Healthcare Association Health Care Worker of the Year nominees. Retired local radio host Kim Faris emceed the event, and honorees enjoyed a concert by Grammy-winning artist Francesca Battistelli.

In total, 1,579 employees were honored. Fourteen employees who celebrated 40+ years of service were chauffeured to the event in style and recognized on the stage. Six honorees celebrated 50 Years of Service: Teresa Doncaster, Karen Grant, Debra McCormick, Linda Tipton, Susan Troutman, and Janet White. And history was made: we celebrated our first-ever 60 Years of Service honoree, Don Lynch.
